So Andy (a Christian musician from Vineland) contacted me earlier in the week needing a sweet new image for his website shot on white seamless paper for that clean polished look. (like at Target) Of course I said sure, no problem!! We made arrangements and I grabbed my roll of seamless paper and stands and headed out to the perfect location...that's right, my front sidewalk. I set up my light stands, mounted my roll of paper, and started to unroll it at the exact moment a huge gust of wind came out of nowhere, caught the paper and tangled me up. I looked ridiculously cool at that moment as you can well imagine and thoroughly enjoyed having numerous neighbors outside watching me struggle. Since I was unprepared for the conditions I quickly grabbed more pro gear out of my basement ie: painters tape, 20 lb dumbells to hold my stands in place, and stacks of vintage books to keep my paper from moving. It was quite a monstrosity, however did surprisingly function brilliantly, WHEW! The shoot went off without a hitch and we got the killer shot Andy was looking for.
