Shane had done some shooting for Niagara Magazine and in turn, they had run an ad for us. Shane designed a typical magazine ad - well - typical for Shane that is. Picture Shane all decked out in his b-ball gear - black shirt, embroidered head and wrist bands spinning his camera globe-trotter style on his index finger. Pretty basic, right? Anyway, a relative of the Young family saw this ad and immediately called us to book a shoot for her brothers family as a Christmas gift. She figured that any guy who was audacious enough to give the finger in the local magazine was her kind of people!
Needless to say, we had a great time getting to know the Youngs, discussing the finer things in life such as Zoolander and the final episode of Lost. As it turned out, Chris grew up close to our location so we headed over to take some shots by the family pond. It was an amazing property and we were thankful that no one fell into the snapping turtle infested waters!
