Finally... the moment arrived, and watching his unbridled excitement and joy just made our day. He absolutely loved his costume, and although he is not fond of wearing face masks... he certainly enjoyed his spiderman tuque. (which went rather nicely with the ensemble, and served a practical purpose too) Since Gavin isn't really a big fan of scary things... (he calls them plastic, because before the freak out goes into full swing, I always tell him it's ok, he's safe, they're just plastic, and they aren't real) so we decided to go for a drive and visit some family. (and friends) Upon returning home he was so excited with his new found wealth, (in his spiderman bucket) that we decided to press on, and brave some door to door action. Much to my surprise, he loved it!!! (: He would go to each door, put down his bucket, knock, and then say... trick or treat! The funny part was, that he wouldn't let anyone put anything in his Spiderman bucket. That was his job, and he'd take each item from their hands, say thank you, and place it in his bucket. Too funny! Overall it was a fantastic experience, and we hope all of you had an enjoyable day as well.
Happy Halloween!
