Christmas Day!!!

Presents, presents, and more presents...for Gavin of course!! Oh... to be a kid again... But that's what Christmas is all about, and it was an absolute joy to watch him tear into the presents 'O' plenty. Funny thing is... in typical kid fashion he loved the cheapest thing the most. No it wasn't the box, but it may have well been. He got a Chinese yo yo in his stocking... at least that's what I think it's called?? Correct me if I'm wrong. It's this crazy striped paper thing rolled around a plastic straw looking stick that telescopes out when you "shoot it like a laser" (as Gavin says). I think it made 80 percent of the pictures we took today, and brought more entertainment than anything else by far. He hedged a full on assault on everyone who came through the door. Best ninety-five cents we've ever spent (ok, maybe not ever), and perhaps we should've saved some money and just bought him a dozen of those puppies??
Over all it was a great day shared with friends, and family. The turkey was spot on delicious, and the gravy was stellar as usual. (nice work Jenny!!) I love me a big meal, but I feel like I have "Prader-Willi Syndrome" every holiday. I just have a hard time walking away from the food, and controlling my insatiable appetite for more. I hover over the left-overs like a famished vulture (even though I'm full) constantly picking, and munching until the wee hours of the morning. Please help me!!!
