Yesterday we arrived at Decew Falls for what was perhaps our last shoot (unless we have any takers looking to hold this infamous title??) of 2010. The Nicholson's were enthusiastic right from the get go, which is always a fantastic way to start things off. Shortly after meeting them I spotted the shocking void in the girls' attire. Ok, well specifically their shoes... (or lack thereof) Ok, they weren't exactly shoeless to set the record straight, but perhaps it wouldn't have made much of a difference. lol They both had these flip-flop, slide-on, ballet looking things that certainly didn't scream winter photoshoot footwear. I had immediate concerns as I planned to take them all around from the snowy trails to the wintery fields. Bill immediately reassured me that it was cool to go wherever I wanted, and they'd be just fine. whew! Apparently those girls have super-human nerveless feet, or mind boggling mental powers that allow them to block out pain. Either way all I could think about was Mr. Deeds black lifeless unfeeling foot, and how this could be their ultimate destiny. Ok enough about the feet... (sorry girls) We had a fantastic time to say the least, and loved seeing how close the Nicholsons are. There is nothing more important than family, and seeing them interact was truly a joy.
