OK enough about that... let’s move on to my day. It started off with the brilliant card below wonderfully handcrafted by Gavin (and Jenny of course). I then enjoyed a delicious breakfast (brought to you by Jenny) and off we went to Zooz with some friends (the Wittes). Now, I wouldn’t have picked Zooz personally... but seeing Gavin happy makes me happy, so what a wicked awesome way to spend the day right? Now as you’ll see in this post, there isn’t really much in the way of animal pics. I hate going to any Zoo because they’re depressing, and seeing animals looking all lethargic behind aggressively reinforced cages doesn’t really do it for me. I’d rather watch Planet Earth in HD and really see creation for the majestically beautiful spectacle it is (or go somewhere exotic like the plains of Africa and see the real deal). Gavin loved the splash pad almost as much as Chris. I’ve never seen a grown man have so much fun at a splash pad. He was running from station to station like a kid in a candy store enjoying every water squirting facet available. Too funny my man!!
By the time we got home it was steak and cake time... that’s right you heard it correctly “steak and cake baby!” A beautiful succulently juicy steak grilled to perfection (by me) with thick and delicious home-made russet potato oven fries (no veg. oh yeah that’s my dream meal) and topped off with a wicked awesome super duper double chocolate cake (chocolate cake with chocolate icing) mmmmm mmmmm mmmmmmmmm! You just can’t beat a meal like that!
Here are a few of my favorite images from the day!
Thanks for hanging out Wittes and thanks to my wife and wonderful kids for making my day fantastic.

Ok apparently this is a baby wolf and I hate to be skeptical but I had my doubts... it really could just be a dog, right? I also can't believe they were charging almost $6 to have your picture taken with it, and then this lady had the audacity to get annoyed at me when I took a picture of the "wolf" without paying... too funny! I paid my admission lady...welcome to the internet!

Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

Look at the movie star!

Yes I do need to shave but it's Father's Day so it's probably rude to say so.

Look it's Zoltar from BIG...classic movie!

A shot of my ladies enjoying lunch time at Zooz.

Gavin loving the splash pad...

Having a blast with my main man.

That's my boy!

And a random shot of my beauties just because I can :)

I love the part about hoping peoples birth control fails so they can experience the best thing that ever happened to them--Kids. I would have to say that I was never really a baby person, usually enjoyed little kids more, however now I have my own little girl I totally LOVE her at every stage! I can't get enough of watching her or snuggling with her. And yes I totally would have to agree that being a parent is great!--So cute that gavin gave you a painted hand print....esther gave her daddy a foot and hand print too. :) --Rach V. (PEI)
