Jenny Spent hours making a butt kicking super hero cake complete with Spiderman, speech bubbles, action words such as POW & BAM, a cobweb and a spider. Not to mention it was three tiers high with buttercream icing, and a chocolate ganache and wild black cap raspberry filling. It was deeeeeeelicious and rumors have circled that some people ate 3 & 4 pieces respectively. You know who you are and all I can say is... "well done my friends, well done!". I succumbed defeat after a mere two pieces. She also made a bunch of red, white, and blue 3d buildings and made me spend my Monday afternoon (thanks a lot!) drawing a 5 foot cityscape to use as a backdrop for the cake... Oh Jenny and her brainwaves...
So let's get to the best part... Cake and ice cream was finally over and it was time to open presents. I was stalling and people were looking at me funny as I secretly awaited Spiderman's arrival. Then in the blink of an eye he was there, running across the roof with ninja like kicks and crazy antics. It was AWESOME! Colin "the superhero" Ritchie did an AMAZING job and may actually be for hire if you have a cool enough idea and a ridiculously awesome costume. So now I'll quit babbling and let you just watch the video...enjoy! I also added a few pics too... surprise surprise!
Happy Birthday to the best son EVER and we'll never tire of watching this video with you.
Love Mommy & Daddy
